A visit to the scenic Rotary Park
Located at Duffin’s Creek, Rotary Park is a perfect family outing destination. The park offers its visitors an opportunity to play along the beach and enjoy the unobstructed view of the lake. There are playgrounds for both kids and adults and a splash pad to cool down and play in during the summer’s heat. Fishing, Boating/Kayaking, and barbequing are some of the other activities that take place within this beautiful park. Rotary Park also features a 3,800-foot pavilion with a concession stand.
Spend a day at the Greenwood Conservation Area
If you are more into hiking and camping stuff, head out to Greenwood Conservation Area on Greenwood Road next to Duffins Creek. This park offers great hiking areas and terrains, fishing areas, skiing, picnic shelters, and well-maintained soccer fields. It’s a perfect place to hang out with family and friends and engage in some competitive games.

Veterans’ Point Gardens
This is a perfectly maintained garden dedicated to the famous HMS Ajax Warship from which the town’s name was borrowed. The gardens act as a reminder of Ajax’s history and the role it played during the 2nd World War. The park is the perfect place for the kids to learn a little history and get a better perspective of where this beautiful town has come from while still enjoying the beauty and landscape of the land.
