Keith Acton

Acton is a legendary Canadian professional ice hockey player who retired after having played as a center for 15 seasons in the NHL. He enjoyed a professional successful carrier which saw him play for over five top rated by NHL teams including the likes of Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers, and New York Islanders in a stint between 1980 and 1994. During his playing career, Acton won two major honors including the Stanley Cup with Edmonton Oilers.

Born in the late 1950s in suburban Stouffville, ON, Acton chose to go into coaching after retiring as a player. He coached three different NHL clubs as an assistant beginning 1994 to 2014 when he called it quits. In 2018, Acton vied for mayor in his home town of Whitchurch-Stouffville where he was the runners-up.

Michael Del Zotto

Zotto is a Canadian-born NHL defenceman who currently represents the St. Louis Blues. Born in Stouffville, Zotto was drafted in 2008 and officially started his professional career in 2009. Some of his previous teams include Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Nashville Predators, Anaheim Ducks, and the Vancouver Canucks. During his childhood days, Zotto played for Stouffville’s Stouffville Clippers A before graduating to the Markham Waxers. Zotto was once ridiculed by Lisa Ann, a famous American-born porn actor, for pressuring her about dating.

Sean Pierson

Pierson is a Canadian-born Welterweight MMA fighter in the UFC. Pierson’s wrestling career started out while he was in elementary school and continued all the way through college. He has won many honors in his boxing career. On another note, Pierson is an accomplished video game player and is known to have won several tournaments and almost going all the way in during the Canada Wonderland tournament. Though not born in Toronto, Sean Pierson currently resides in Stoufville with his wife and two sons.
